Job Summary
Cross Domain Field Service Representative at Ft. Shafter, Honolulu, HI maintains and optimizes cross-domain hardware, software, and configurations while ensuring seamless system functionality. Responsibilities include managing server stacks, VMs, SANs, and cross-domain appliances; creating and maintaining user accounts in compliance with policies; performing system patching, full installations, software updates, and backup/recovery; supporting site security events and SBSA/security audits; coordinating with local facility and unit support teams to maintain network and datacenter availability; sustaining web applications across networks in accordance with Army and domain policies; monitoring system processes and generating status/usage reports; identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with hardware, software, and networks; ensuring proper connectivity and data flow for mission-critical systems; and driving continuous improvements to cross-domain processes based on customer and partner feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification (IAT Level II)
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Certification in Linux+ or experience with Linux system maintenance and automation (e.g., BASH scripting, Python, Ansible)
- Experience with structured data standards (e.g., XML, KML, FMV Metadata)
- Proficiency in maintaining VMware virtualization environments
- Military experience with Linux-based Military Intelligence systems across multiple networks
- Prior military communication experience (e.g., U.S. Army MOS 35T Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator)
