Job Summary
Prototype, design, and implement new software and trusted infrastructure for massive scale, integrated cloud services in a multi-tenant environment. Define and implement solutions for challenging problems while designing and building new services to support customer security. Lead technical initiatives independently, leveraging expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD practices to build innovative systems powering critical business applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in one or more high level programming languages such as Java and/or Python
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud services
- Strong understanding of System design and software architecture
- Strong understanding of APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of Databases and data modeling
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of Observability and operational tooling
- Proven ability to independently lead technical initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems
- Strong security and network experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working in a large cloud provider or Internet software company
- Experience in building out new cloud products, specifically security and network related
- Strong knowledge of Application Security and of Security platforms in the Cloud infrastructure
- Experience collaborating with software development teams, data scientists, business and other technical roles
- Experience with Windows, Linux and other Operating System
