Job Summary
Lead Owner-side contract strategy, drafting, and administration for new-build thermal and conventional power generation projects under FIDIC Silver Book frameworks. Structure risk allocation, liability, and payment regimes to protect the Owner's position while securing the lowest total cost of ownership. Manage the full tendering lifecycle, supplier base development, and cross-border sourcing strategies for OEMs and EPC contractors. Support claims defense, dispute positioning, and extension-of-time negotiations, coordinating with Legal and external counsel on resolution. Oversee post-award administration, variations, and contract close-out while ensuring compliance with HSEQ and information security policies. Manage department budget, team development, and stakeholder relationships across project, legal, and executive functions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8–10 years in project procurement and/or EPC contract management
- demonstrated ownership of major-project contracting
- At least 3–5 years of leadership experience
- Any 4-year engineering, law, business-related, or Behavioral Science degree
Desired Qualifications
- Direct exposure to new-build power / large-scale CAPEX projects
- A post-graduate qualification in engineering, law, or business
