Job Summary
Principal Consulting Health Actuary will provide actuarial consulting services and manage clients across health and welfare plans (multiemployer/private/public). Responsibilities include overseeing client teams, mentoring staff, leading client/internal meetings, maintaining client relationships, and managing contract and invoicing processes. Role positioned for succession to lead major clients within a flexible, growth-oriented firm with multiple US office locations andRemote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- 20+ years of employer sponsored health care actuarial consulting experience in multi-employer and/or private sector
- Expertise in managing all aspects of multiemployer, private, and/or public sector active health and welfare plans consulting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Access, SQL, and/or JAVA a plus; familiarity with Business Intelligence programs (Power BI, Tableau)
