Job Summary
The Principal Consultant serves as a senior technical leader responsible for delivering complex, multi-discipline projects and acting as a subject matter expert. Responsibilities include leading design efforts, ensuring high-performance project delivery, cultivating client relationships, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should possess strong technical leadership skills, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with 8+ years of relevant experience in AEC or professional services. Preferred qualifications include industry certifications and proficiency in relevant software tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience
- 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with strong discipline-specific capability
- Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making sound decisions within your discipline
- Ability to lead discipline-specific portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight
- Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms
- Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub
- Industry certifications preferred by discipline: PSP and/or CPP (Security), CDT, EIT, PE, PMP
