Job Summary
Collaborate with clients to design, deploy, and optimize backup and recovery solutions using Cohesity Data Protect, leveraging expertise in Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms. Lead technical workshops, propose tailored architectures, and serve as the escalation point for complex troubleshooting during and post-deployment. Deliver project documentation, manage operational best practices, and provide timely consultation while mentoring client teams for smooth handover. This client-facing role within the Professional Services team requires 50% domestic and regional travel, with a preference for Melbourne or Sydney locations. Security clearance (NV1/NV2) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Cohesity Data Protect solutions, including appliances
- Strong experience in Windows and Linux administration
- Proven track record of delivering technical solutions in VMware and cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cohesity Data Protect in professional services or client-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
- Exceptional client communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of data protection, disaster recovery, and backup best practices
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- 50% domestic and regional travel required
- Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) and/or Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) Australian Government security clearances
Desired Qualifications
- Additional knowledge of container-based technologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cohesity Data Protect, VMware, AWS, Azure)
- Previous experience in a Professional Services or consulting role
- Knowledge of container-based technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker
