Job Summary
The Principal Consultant - Professional Liability will analyze Professional Services claims related to construction projects and perform Technical Project Due Diligence for client risk assessments. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, conducting cost analysis, producing forensic reports, and developing client relationships. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture, with at least 15 years of related construction experience, including proficiency in project documentation and analysis. Familiarity with forensic claims and technical risk assessments is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 15 years of construction experience
- Proficiency in project documents including drawings, RFIs, contracts, and change orders
- Experience in cost analysis work and dispute resolution
- Experience in Technical Project Due Diligence and Risk Assessments is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and BlueBeam
Additional Requirements
- Must be attentive and focused when conducting site inspections and preparing reports
- Must be comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time
