Job Summary
Lead and manage environmental assessments and the preparation of environmental impact statements for large-scale capital development projects, including renewables, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Project manage multiple initiatives within agreed scope, budget, and schedule while preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and supporting business development. Manage related approvals processes for SSD/SSI projects and maintain client relationships to support repeat business. Mentor junior and mid-level consulting staff to develop their skills in environmental planning and approvals. Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees and share multi-disciplinary resources with the global Impact Assessment technical team.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 10+ years of environmental planning and impact assessment working within NSW and Commonwealth legislative requirements
- High degree of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence, land use planning, post approval management and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices, with a solid grasp of the key impact assessment and management issues within the renewables, infrastructure and industrial sectors
- Superior project management and project delivery skills, including time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed team building and influencing skills

- Solid experience building sustaining relationships with major clients
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and “people” skills
