Job Summary
Lead roles in data-driven IT projects focused on AWS cloud engineering, including project management and implementation while building strong customer relationships. Identify opportunities and risks to successfully create new roles within existing projects, demonstrating exceptional communication skills to engage and persuade customers. Collaborate closely with tech partners to grow the AWS partnership and apply analytical thinking to optimize internal processes. Coach practice members and drive the success of the AWS cluster, collaborating within the synvert group for cloud-related topics. Requires over 6 years of experience in Cloud or Data Engineering with strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Spark, plus AWS certifications. Open to occasional travel up to 30% of the time. Required Qualifications
- >6 years of experience in Cloud / Data Engineering area (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with managing projects as well as hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ Data Engineering projects
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
- Certifications in AWS: e.g. Practitioner or Professional or proven record of delivering projects with AWS
- Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
- German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to Land&Expand
- Coaching and mentoring skills
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, Spark; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
