Principal Consultant - Aviation Infrastructure Transactions

Job Summary
Deliver technical analyses for airport infrastructure, capital investment programmes, and aviation forecasts while leading workstreams and projects. Undertake report writing and presentations to clients, including business case reviews, cost benchmarking, and delivery risk analysis. Lead or support the delivery of high-quality proposals and business development activities. Share knowledge to contribute to discipline development. Work 40 hours per week with 40% of time spent in office or on-site with clients. Join a team providing advice to private and public-sector clients including airports, airlines, financial institutions, and regulators.
Required Qualifications
- Have a degree with strong technical content such as in Engineering, Airport Planning, and Transport Planning
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Professional experience in airport planning, airport infrastructure, airport advisory, engineering consultancy, asset management or capital programme delivery
- Excellent time management with the ability to juggle time across multiple projects and prioritise deadlines seamlessly
- Excellent proficiency in oral and written English
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical audiences
- Client facing and/or client-side experience
- Good team player, able to work collaboratively
- Willingness to develop expertise across other aviation advisory disciplines including traffic forecasting, business planning, economic regulation, strategy and transaction support
Desired Qualifications
- fluency in other languages from these geographies
- Experience of policy work (such as for the European Commission or the Department for Transport)
- Interest in sustainability matters
