Job Summary
Design and build enterprise-scale AWS landing zones while automating complex platforms with Terraform. Package services into AMIs, Docker, or Serverless environments and define technical strategy focused on IaC modularisation. Lead cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformations for major public and private sector organisations, applying site reliability best practices and shaping mature security models. Work directly with customers to prevent, detect, and remediate security risks in regulated, multi-account setups.
Required Qualifications
- SC clearance eligibility (ability to pass SC clearance checks)
- DV clearance ability or willingness (advantageous but not essential)
- Deep AWS expertise
- Landing zones expertise
- Strong hands-on Terraform skills
- Automation skills
- Clear opinions on IaC structure and cloud architecture
- Experience working in enterprise-scale AWS environments
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
- Mentoring engineers experience
- Strong hands-on AWS knowledge
- Ability to choose the right service for the job
- Deep expertise in multi-account and multi-tenant AWS setups
- Experience operating cloud platforms at scale
- Experience in regulated environments (ideally)
- Solid grasp of secure, scalable, and resilient AWS architecture
- Strong understanding of AWS security risks and prevention/detection/remediation
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Confidence in advising on IaC structure and modularisation
- Awareness of SRE principles and operational priorities
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong system design skills
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 days onsite)
- Location in Central London
