Job Summary
Lead the delivery of civil & structural engineering projects within the Reactor Operations team in the UK, providing technical guidance across design lifecycle (concept, scheme, detailed design, construction), and managing budgets, schedules, and resources. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, support bids and client relationships, and apply significant UK nuclear industry experience to design and assess steel and reinforced concrete structures. Chartered Engineer through ICE or IStructE required; role may involve site-based work and hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer (CEng through ICE or IStructE)
- Significant UK nuclear industry experience
- Experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Ability to lead and develop technical teams
- Experience delivering civil & structural engineering projects across lifecycle (concept to construction)
- Ability to support bids and value propositions
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Strong collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Security clearance suitability (UK residency as needed)
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or CEng MIStructE)
- Significant UK nuclear industry experience
