Principal Civil Engineer (Water)

Job Summary
Provide technical expertise and advice during project lifecycle stages from feasibility to construction, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver quality outcomes. Review technical deliverables for compliance with NZ standards while leading proposal documentation, fee estimation, and contract negotiations. Maintain key client relationships and actively participate in business development activities to drive commercial optimization. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development within the Canterbury region. Requires Chartered Professional Engineer status with 15+ years in water infrastructure, including expertise in pump stations, stormwater, and bulk wastewater.

- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) engineer
- 15+ years' experience

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Water, Environmental or Natural Resources Engineering
- CPEng Status
- Exceptional technical knowledge in water engineering (3 waters)
