Job Summary
Principal Civil Engineer (Water) needed for our Sacramento/Davis area offices, with 8-12 years of experience focusing on groundwater wells, drinking water, water reuse, and stormwater. Responsibilities include delivering projects through planning, design, and civil engineering plans/specifications/reports; supervising project management delivery; leading risk mitigation, QA/QC for deliverables; ensuring regulatory adherence to codes, laws, and permits; serving as a lead technical resource for multiple client teams; contributing to BC Standards; supporting proposals and presentations; and adapting to evolving needs. Preferred qualifications include managing groundwater/water supply projects, participating in business development, field work, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Education and licensing requirements specify a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and professional licensure (California PE) with experience in water infrastructure design, regulatory compliance, and project management. Required Qualifications
- Typically, a minimum of 10 years of work experience in civil engineering or related field

- Strong technical writing and communication skills
