Job Summary
Manage design packages for major road, greenway, and urban transport schemes from concept to construction, overseeing multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians. Apply latest standards including DMURS and TII Publications to create safe, people-focused solutions while engaging directly with clients and local authorities on statutory approvals. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to structured pathways to chartership within a 150+ strong Surface Transportation team. Support delivery of transformative projects such as National Mobility Hubs, Active Travel schemes, and BusConnects across Ireland. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Significant experience in road, urban, or Active Travel infrastructure design
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project delivery
- Working knowledge of Irish transport standards: TII Publications, DMURS, DMRB, and Cycle Design Manual
- Experience with statutory planning and design approvals in Ireland
- Experience with construction stage such as Site Supervision is ideal
