Principal Civil Engineer / Discipline Lead

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate technical civil engineering design and project delivery across a wide range of civil, structural, resources and geotechnical projects. Provide technical leadership for feasibility, design, construction and integration phases; oversee QA/QC for civil design; review and sign off engineering deliverables and studies; manage project budgets, timelines and scope changes; mentor engineers; contribute to client management, business development and proposals; participate in annual planning and leadership initiatives. Open to full-time, part-time or job-share; strong WA experience and qualifications expected. The role supports flexible work practices across Australia and New Zealand as the team expands.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- CPEng and/or NER (highly desirable)
- Extensive WA experience across multidisciplinary civil design projects (roads, earthworks, drainage, water/tailings storage, flood management)
- Strong report writing and technical review skills
- Demonstrated project management and client engagement experience
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Strong knowledge of Australian and local standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
