Job Summary
Principal responsible for aligning accountability plans with financial goals and performance standards, coordinating instructional materials with curriculum goals, supporting collaboration across grade levels and subjects, and ensuring student achievement meets NC Accountability measures. Leads a collaborative, values-driven school culture, inspires students, families, staff, and community, and guides the administrative team in planning faculty meetings, School Improvement Team discussions, and local professional development while supervising the discipline program.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in K-12 education
- experience coordinating curriculum and instructional materials
- ability to support teacher collaboration and professional development
- ability to set and enforce rigorous standards for student achievement
- familiarity with accountability measures and school improvement processes
- strong communication and community engagement skills
- experience supervising school discipline programs
- ability to plan agendas for faculty and school improvement meetings
