Job Summary
Define innovative building design, engineering, and management strategies for Autodesk's largest customers to maximize investment value. Develop Customer Success Plans and lead facilitated workshops to identify solution opportunities and drive alignment on solution paths. Shape the consulting service offering by interfacing with thought leaders and participating in the development of new expanded offerings. Lead project delivery efforts while mentoring junior staff in change management, strategic thinking, and effective communication. Track solution value and document customer investment impact. Present at industry events and publish articles to build thought leadership and demonstrate expertise. Advise on project estimation and participate in business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree
- Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in the Buildings industry
- Focus on the development, management and/or delivery of digital design, engineering, and management solutions across a business enterprise
- Excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, program management, change management, business process optimization, and communications
- Ability to facilitate customer workshops leveraging a variety of techniques
- Initiative and ability to drive decisions and closure on issues
- Ability to work with diverse technical, sales, and project management teams
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and how to operate under structured project management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering effective presentations to teams and customers
- Ability to break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, including international travel
Desired Qualifications
- Autodesk products highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Building design, engineering, construction, and management industry practices
- Key industry and technology focus areas: Architecture BIM for Industrial Uses
- Facility Ownership & Management (BIM for Owners)
- Data Management/Readiness Strategy
- Data Science & Advanced Analytics
- Generative Design, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Advanced experience developing and enabling workflow processes between architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and owners
- Advanced experience leveraging Autodesk products such as Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 (all modules), Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Civil3D, Infraworks, etc.
- Experience in developing and sustaining a digital design and delivery solution portfolio
