Job Summary
Design and develop total rewards programs of the highest complexity by consulting with business and HR leaders to create compensation solutions. Analyze internal and external market data, model changes to reward programs, and monitor legal and regulatory requirements while integrating compensation with performance and talent management. Manage benefits delivery, partner with vendors, and lead multiple programs simultaneously across countries, regions, or businesses. Account for financial and legal outcomes of initiatives and maintain current market trend knowledge through industry professional relationships. Work hybrid near an HPE office in Houston, TX, with a salary range of USD 105,500 - 243,000.
Required Qualifications
- Hybrid work arrangement (average 2 days per week from an HPE office)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources
- Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted compensation consultant to senior business and HR leaders
- Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional compensation initiatives and projects
- Complete systematic understanding of total rewards systems, as well as other HR functions
- Advanced knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits, including emerging legislation
- Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
- Exceptional financial and business acumen
- Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies
- Meets the licensing or certification requirements of the relevant country or region (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) in the US)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
