Job Summary
Organize, develop, and maintain total project controls, financial analysis, and estimating applications to support planning, scheduling, and cost control across complex DOE missions. Prepare business and financial plans, establish cost and schedule baselines, and analyze variances to propose mitigation strategies. Lead the development of advanced system applications and implement change management systems for engineering and construction scopes. Conduct variance analysis, scenario modeling, and financial forecasting to identify funding limitations and enhance productivity. Define business system requirements, oversee implementation of financial applications, and provide technical direction and training to Project Controls personnel. This role supports critical nuclear security and environmental remediation work at Savannah River National Lab in Aiken, SC.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-11 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance
- Health & Safety training
- Medical monitoring
- Client-driven drug and background testing
- Strong personal computer skills
- Expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems
- Practical experience in the use of the Site Business systems
- Knowledge of project management and cost and schedule control at the tactical level
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance, or project startup and construction

- Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area
- Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area
- Associate's degree
