Job Summary
Direct and manage instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities. Lead instructional management, school morale, improvement initiatives, personnel management, fiscal/administrative functions, student management, professional growth, and community relations; supervise and evaluate staff; develop campus performance objectives; manage budgets and facilities; ensure timely reporting and compliance; communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community; foster collegiality and teamwork to achieve district goals. Requires Master’s in educational administration and Texas principal certification with T-TESS appraisal proficiency; three years classroom teaching and three years leadership experience; strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction, data interpretation, and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in educational administration
- Texas principal certification
- Certified T-TESS appraiser
- Three years of successful classroom certified teaching experience
- Three years of experience in instructional leadership roles (preferred)
- Three years of Certified Assistant Principal experience
- Strong organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
