Job Summary
Principal Brand Designer at Zeffy owns the visual identity and digital presence, guiding the brand across web, campaigns, and digital touchpoints; leads design execution and manages a small constellation of freelancers/agencies to reflect Zeffy’s mission and brand style. You’ll design web pages and components that communicate Zeffy’s mission, collaborate with web agencies, illustrators, and motion designers, and uphold a high visual standard within an established brand framework. The role emphasizes converting visitors through clean, storytelling-driven design and shaping brand systems and assets that support growth for a nonprofit platform.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in visual and web design (UI, web, and graphic design) with a solid eye for composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience contributing to brand projects — such as extending an existing brand system, creating marketing assets, or refreshing visual elements — with a clear understanding of brand guidelines and consistency.
- A portfolio showcasing clean, conversion-driven web design and strong visual storytelling within an established brand framework.
- Worked at a tech startup (or a challenging, high-pace environment) before
