Job Summary
Principal BIM Modeller (Mechanical) based in Brisbane leading BIM data management for projects across Defence, Healthcare, Aviation, Education, Commercial and Civil infrastructure. Work closely with internal BIM Technicians and designers to produce drawings and models that meet client goals and project performance indicators; produce accurate reports for the Design Manager and coordinate with the project controls team to ensure integrated systems. Apply ISO19650 to facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings. Demonstrate production of high-quality, data-rich mechanical models and documentation, with experience in Autodesk Forma and Revizto (plus Navisworks, Dynamo, PowerBI). Hybrid work options available; role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable built-environment outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Qualifications from an approved TAFE or education institution; or relevant building related degree
- Ability to chair workshops with BIM project stakeholders
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to create reports and VR presentations
- Prior experience in MEP, Structural or Architectural disciplines
- Experience in production of high-quality, data-rich mechanical models and documentation
- Experience with Autodesk Forma, Revizto; Navisworks, Dynamo, PowerBI preferred
