Job Summary
Principal AWS Software Engineer role supporting a U.S. Government contract. Requires active/reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and U.S. Citizenship. Located in Annapolis Junction, MD with partial telework (16 hours/week). Full-time position offering a salary range of $200k-$280k, long-term security, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. The candidate will provide technical expertise to sustain mission-critical software and systems, work within Agile practices, develop in AWS with managed services, and collaborate with a team of engineers on enterprise software, cloud technologies, analytics, AI/ML, and DevOps containerization for defense/cybersecurity-focused projects.
Required Qualifications
- Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (in-scope poly within 7 years)
- U.S. Citizenship
- 20+ years Software Engineering experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong communication skills
- Experience developing in AWS with managed services
