Job Summary
Lead automation engineering for a warehouse-scale greenfield project: own technical integrity of automated material handling, troubleshooting between PLCs and WCS, and managing AS/RS, AGV, and WMS interfaces (SAP EWM). Serve as SME for Körber K.One.X, AGV fleet management, and robotics integration; drive continuous optimization (OEE) and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP. Responsible for system health monitoring, L2/L3 technical support, disaster recovery procedures, safety audits, and 24x7 on-call support; collaborate with IT, Quality, and Operations to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations. The position involves remote and on-site work initially, with transition to full on-site; travel up to 30% during the project phase.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science or related discipline OR Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline OR 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech GMP
