Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and optimize large-scale PLC, DCS, and manufacturing execution systems controlling incubators, bioreactors, and chromatography skids across cGMP sites. Lead technical strategy for automation engineering groups, developing design standards for low voltage control panels and instrumentation protocols while overseeing full-time engineers, contractors, and vendors. Provide subject matter expertise on unit operations, execute system upgrades, and consult leadership on major functionality challenges and industry best practices. Manage project engineering for transformational initiatives, including factory acceptance tests and industry conferences, with up to 20% travel and remote work allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering
- 12 years of related experience
- Prior experience in scope, engineering, program, implement, commission, operate, maintain, optimize, administrate large scale control systems over 100K DST (input\output control signals)
- Prior experience in control system life cycle planning
- Prior experience in control system Major version hardware and software upgrade
- Prior experience in system and control performance improvement and control optimization
- Prior experience in virtualize and deploy control system with virtualized host infrastructure
- Prior experience in integrate third party software and hardware with control system
- Prior experience in develop and maintain control panel standard
- Prior experience in integrate bused devices for different protocols and managed site instruments assets
- Prior experience in coded control applications and configured HMI graphics
- Prior experience in carry out ICS system Cyber security evaluation and consultation, recommended cyber security enhancement solutions, execute solutions
