Job Summary
Principal Attorney Commercial Agreements responsible for independently managing the drafting and negotiation of complex, high-value sales transactions. Lead cross-functional deals across GF teams, guiding executive and non-executive stakeholders through deal strategy and risk/financial analysis. Draft, review, and advise on contract language; provide strategic legal counsel to multiple business functions; supervise and mentor contracts professionals and paralegals; and travel as needed (occasional and international travel). Strong transactional expertise, business judgment, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- J.D., LLB (or equivalent degree)
- 10+ years of experience in sophisticated commercial transactions practice
- Excellent contract drafting skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work across cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
- Travel - Up to 10% (international travel may be required)
