Job Summary
Create editorial content for the Auto Navigator platform, including the Auto Learning Center, while proactively identifying content gaps through competitive analysis and user insights. Develop authoritative articles rooted in proprietary data and partner with content agencies to ensure continuous qualitative feedback. Manage the end-to-end editorial lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables adhere to established standards while utilizing SEO/GEO tools like Google Search Console and GEO measurement tools. Translate complex automotive mechanical and technology concepts for the average car shopper, balancing creative ambition with data-driven performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- A 'Content Strategist' mindset
- Proven experience in managing the end-to-end editorial lifecycle
- Strong organizational skills and experience establishing priority order to various workstreams
- A professional understanding of SEO/GEO principles
- Experience with related tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and GEO measurement tools
- Experience editing multiple content types
- Talent for translating complex automotive mechanical and technology concepts for the average car shopper
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with digital photography and Adobe Photoshop
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of writing and editing as part of an editorial staff at a media outlet or content production company
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications or related field
- 5+ years of writing and editing as part of an editorial staff at an automotive media outlet
- 1+ year of experience working on automotive agency accounts or automotive companies
