Job Summary
Develop cloud-native solutions for customers transitioning to Google Cloud, focusing on infrastructure as code, security, containerization, serverless platforms, and CI/CD. Lead technical oversight and end-to-end delivery of projects, acting as the primary advisor to help clients navigate complex engagements and eliminate obstacles. Create detailed estimates, proposals, and Statements of Work based on client requirements while maintaining hands-on execution capabilities. Mentor engineering teams by upskilling staff in specialized domains and fostering a collaborative, co-development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience designing and implementing cloud native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices
- Hands on skills working with a major public cloud platform in a production setting, ideally GCP
- Comfortable working with common DevSecOps practices and tooling
- Ability to go deeper than most on one or more domains - Software Architecture, Tooling/Pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Databases, and/or Networking
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, DevSecOps, and Software Development
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex engagements
- Strong communication skills; able to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
- Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients
