Job Summary
Lead Principal Architect for JPMorgan Chase's Consumer & Community Bank Connected Commerce Technology Team. Drive cloud-based architecture platforms, develop multi-year roadmaps aligned with business strategy, and create scalable, durable software frameworks. Champion secure, high-quality production code, mentor technologists, and influence cross-functional decisions on technology selection and target-state architecture. Collaborate with senior leaders to advance architecture capabilities, adoption of global solutions, and modernization initiatives, while fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering
- 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Expertise in one or more programming languages
- Deep knowledge of software, applications, and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes
- Experience with cloud native technologies
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Ability to present and communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives
- Understanding of the business
- Practical cloud native experience
- Preferred: cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Previous coding experience will be a preference
