Job Summary
Model and solve authentication and security problems using AI/ML by leading end-to-end model development, from training traditional systems to fine-tuning large language models. Create and maintain evaluation datasets and workflows, then translate research ideas into prototypes while measuring outcomes against quality, latency, and cost. Drive technical direction for AI innovation with minimal process, often working independently to figure out solutions without a dedicated research org. This hybrid role requires three days in the local office. You'll collaborate with the Auth0Lab team to incubate new products for AI agents, balancing hands-on coding with industry-wide thinking.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in ML / applied research roles
- You've led multiple 0 to 1 AI or ML projects and shipped practical ML or AI systems
- Strong Python, ML frameworks, and software engineering skills
- You love to learn and are able to do so quickly
- You know how computers work and can apply that to solve hard problems, period
- You constantly strive to hit the right balance between simplicity and flexibility
- You have a talent to grok customer's needs and continuously iterate on your understanding of a problem space based on their feedback, industry trends and available technology
- You are able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills and understand the value of collaboration
- This is a hybrid role. It requires going to the local office 3 times a week
