Job Summary
Brewer Science is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer II (roles II/III/IV) to provide technical support and optimization of chemical products for semiconductor manufacturing. Located in Rolla, MO, the role entails understanding customer requirements, collaborating with sales, R&D, and production, troubleshooting issues, developing and presenting technical proposals, and leading or mentoring project teams. Responsibilities include operating advanced semiconductor equipment (e.g., spin coaters, ellipsometers, defect inspection, SEM review), documenting procedures and results, analyzing data with statistical methods, developing test methods, communicating findings to internal/external customers, supporting feasibility studies, and coordinating cross-functional activities. Education/credentials span Bachelor’s in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with 2+ years of experience (or Master’s) for Engineer II; increasing experience and advanced degrees for Engineer III/IV, plus equivalent combinations of education and experience. Required Qualifications
- Applications Engineer II: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree in related discipline or An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Applications Engineer III: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 4+ years of experience or Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience or An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Applications Engineer IV: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 6+ years of experience or Master’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience or An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
