Principal Application Architect

Principal Application Architect role within Sabre's Nova Team (Customer Identity and Access Solutions) in Kraków. Define long-term architectural direction for CIAS platforms, lead design and modernization efforts, and ensure stability, performance, security, and audit readiness at Sabre scale. This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise in cloud-native, distributed systems with microservices, API-first design, and modern CI/CD practices. Key responsibilities include architecting blueprints and domain models, guiding multi-team decisions, mentoring senior engineers, and aligning architecture with CIAS North Star. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and solutions architects to deliver platform health, security, and scalable delivery, while operating in a hybrid work arrangement (3 days per week in the office). Qualifications include 10+ years in software engineering or architecture, hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (preferably GCP), and strong communication to influence senior stakeholders. The position is located in Kraków, Poland, with hybrid in-office requirements.
