Job Summary

Own Wood Mackenzie's Long-Term and Short-Term Power Market Outlooks by developing proprietary models and datasets across Power & Renewables verticals. Author high-profile insight pieces and thought leadership content that sets the industry narrative, then regularly present research at global conferences, client events, and webinars. Serve as the direct point of contact for research subscribers, exchanging views through one-on-one conversations, inquiry responses, and client briefings to keep the firm aligned with client strategy. Collaborate with peers in research, consulting, and marketing to amplify coverage and support joint engagements. This role requires a recognized thought leader with 5-7 years of power sector experience, SQL/Excel proficiency, and the ability to translate quantitative analysis into compelling verbal and written insights for senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience in the power sector
  • Experience producing wholesale power market datasets, forecasts, and analysis for commercial purposes
  • Demonstrated track record as a subject-matter expert – someone clients and colleagues seek out for a view
