Job Summary
Telecom Industry Analyst role driving Omdia’s research on strategic technology choices and market developments with a global remit. Responsibilities include writing qualitative analyses, producing market forecasts, developing thought leadership and press materials, supporting sales with scoping and renewals, and presenting findings at industry events. The role requires proven telecom expertise, senior-level analytical experience, and a track record of conference speaking; regular in-person collaboration with teams, with flexibility to work remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Telecom Industry Analyst: Proven experience as an analyst in the telecommunications sector with deep knowledge of operator business models, strategies, and market dynamics.
- Must have both telco expertise and analyst experience.
- Experience producing subscription-based research (long-form reports and reactive content) with ability to set research agendas autonomously.
- Track record of 3-4+ conference speaking engagements per year.
- Strong written research skills with qualitative and quantitative capabilities.
- Ability to present to and engage with C-suite executives at large telecom organizations.
- Experience shaping research topics and representing them to prospects and customers.
- Ability to integrate primary and secondary research, build credible base data, and log assumptions clearly.
