Job Summary
Conduct structured and ad-hoc financial analysis for budget holders, including variance analysis and capital project economic evaluations. Maintain and improve underlying cost structures, cost master data in SAP/BPC/Power BI, and key financial models. Support budget, forecast, and business planning exercises while consolidating KPI reports and coordinating team activities for external engagements like audits. Ensure budget development and compliance across the organization. Requires 10+ years of financial experience with 6+ in FP&A, a Master's degree in a business discipline, and advanced SAP/Excel skills. Located in Hackberry, LA; TWIC required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance, economics or another business discipline
- 10+ year of financial experience
- 6+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Thorough knowledge of financial reporting
- Thorough knowledge of financial modeling
- Thorough knowledge of accounting
- Advanced knowledge of SAP
- Advanced knowledge of SAP BPC
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
- Team oriented
- Comfortable adapting to change
- High attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required
Desired Qualifications
- CFA, CMA, or CPA desirable
- Excel VBA knowledge is a plus
