Job Summary
Principal Analog Design Engineer responsible for technical leadership and major contributions to analog design of complex power management ICs. Will interpret requirements, drive design strategy for PMICs, supervise CMOS analog circuit design, simulation, and layout to meet performance, area, power, and timescale constraints, own complex block design, lead feasibility studies, perform lab evaluations with Applications Engineers, produce high-quality documentation for IP blocks, advance new design methodologies, support DFT strategy and test development for ramp to production, and maintain customer-facing relations as part of project teams. Also expected to mentor junior engineers, coordinate cross-functional work, and occasionally travel internationally; Renesas embedded semiconductor solutions and remote work option referenced in company materials.
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 12 years’ relevant experience
- Advanced training, study and experience allowing work on advanced complex technical projects
- Ability to lead & co-ordinate significant projects, programs and business initiatives with creativity and ingenuity
- Ability to solve complex issues in creative, commercial and effective ways
- Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
