Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and debug complex mathematical algorithms and software for missile tracking applications using modern C++ and Python. Perform data analysis and state estimation while documenting technical approaches and resolving defects within the project software development lifecycle. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure mission applicability of products and present technical findings clearly. Requires Secret clearance, 5–8 years of experience, and ability to travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university
- 5 years of related experience
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline
- 3 years experience
- PhD
- 1 year of experience
- Minimum of 1 year of software development experience with Python and/or C++
- Linux experience
- Working knowledge of common utilities like grep, awk, cat head, etc.
- Experience developing, analyzing, testing, and implementing extendable / reusable algorithms
- Algorithm design and state estimation experience
- Experience with data analysis - Population statistics and trend identification
- The ability to bridge between theoretical concepts and practical implementation
- Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needs
- Current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

- Strong statistical background and skills
- Experience in tracking and prediction algorithms, simulation, and validation
- Experience with multiple hypothesis tracking
- Experience in the numerical implementation of motion filters
