Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary
Principal AI Engineer with a focus on cloud-native AI platform engineering to build and operate AI-enabled compliance solutions, automation workflows, and enterprise integrations. Responsible for deploying and managing AI platforms (including AI agents and digital workers), implementing RAG infrastructure, managing vector databases, integrating RegScale and other enterprise systems, and securing deployment pipelines in regulated environments. Collaborates with AI architects, compliance SMEs, product managers, and customer delivery teams, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and IaC to support AI/automation workloads. Must have strong Python development, REST API integration, experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock), and familiarity with LangChain-style frameworks, as well as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Solution Engineering experience
- 2+ years supporting AI, automation, or machine learning platforms in production environments
- Experience deploying and supporting AI applications in production environments
- Experience with LLM APIs including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
- Understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic retrieval
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms and enterprise systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- U.S. Citizenship preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain government suitability requirements as needed
