Job Summary

Design and develop electrical box assembly, cable/wiring harness routing, and system drawings for aircraft functional systems, selecting electro-mechanical components per Mil Spec requirements. Apply technical principles to moderate-scope problems, organize team tasks, and make design decisions that minimize rework and maximize reuse. Complete BTPs, change orders, and design reviews while representing the organization in internal and external technical interactions. Participate in team discussions to enhance performance and encourage innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
  • Master's degree in a related STEM discipline
  • PhD in a related STEM discipline
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with electromechanical components such as electrical box assembly, cable/wiring harness routing, and system cable/wiring harness routing
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid modeling design skills (i.e., NX Siemens, Team Center Enterprise (TcE), CATIA, Solid Works)
  • Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with designing and integrating components into larger systems
  • Experience managing projects (schedule and technical performance)
