Job Summary

Lead the development and execution of capital equipment and manufacturing process projects to support New Product Introduction, productivity improvements, and cost optimization. Serve as the bridge between product development and factory operations to shape manufacturing strategies for safe, efficient, and scalable production systems. Expertise in sheet metal fabrication, automation, lean manufacturing, and capital project management in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities include planning, procurement, installation, and qualification of advanced manufacturing equipment, supplier evaluations, and technical reviews; managing capital projects from concept through production launch; optimizing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE); providing DFMA input during product development; acting as the primary manufacturing liaison for NPI; applying Lean and 3P methodologies to create efficient, scalable systems; advancing automation and continuous improvement using modern digital tools; collaborating with Lean, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations; ensuring safety and operational excellence; applying Human Organizational Performance (HOP) principles; mentoring junior engineers and contributing to strategic initiatives and training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related discipline OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment and processes
