Job Summary
Lead and coordinate financial processes with responsibility for direction, oversight and review of financial transactions; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual comprehensive financial reporting packages with analysis of budget vs. actual, prior year vs. current year, and KPIs; provide analysis of balance sheets and cash flows; interact with senior management to offer recommendations and drive resolutions; ensure reporting complies with professional standards and internal controls; guide and train junior staff; analyze and resolve technical accounting issues and lead external auditors to ensure compliance; facilitate continuous improvement and adoption of technical accounting changes; demonstrate strong accounting and analytical skills and ability to present financial data to management for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Six years of accounting related experience, including 3 years working in a senior and/or training capacity
- Proficient in spreadsheet applications and accounting systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of financial and operational planning processes and best practices
- Discretion and independent judgment
