Job Summary
Lead Revenue Accounting special projects by researching, analyzing, and reporting on issues affecting the company. Assist with monthly Operated Revenue close, including Reverse/Rebooks, royalty checks, and SAP/Excalibur journal entries. Prepare and analyze monthly Revenue Reconciliations, quarterly Excalibur to SAP Reconciliations, and owner inquiries. Follow up with purchasers on missing revenues and collaborate with the Division Order department on deck changes and Take in Kind Revenues. Maintain relationships with internal departments to ensure pertinent information for the monthly close. This 1-year contract assignment requires 10+ years of experience and strong analytical skills within the energy industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor - Accounting / Finance / Business
- 10+ years
- experience researching, interpreting and applying accounting rules and policies
- strong planning and organizational skills
- strong ethic to comply with legal, regulatory, and company rules and policies
- SAP Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivots, formulas, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Excalibur and PowerBI experience helpful but not required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Accounting / Finance
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
