Job Summary
Drive successful management of significant strategic accounts by applying consultative selling skills to identify business challenges and develop innovative tactics leveraging F5's full solution portfolio. Lead initiatives to create tailored solutions for existing accounts, exercising independent judgment in selecting go-to-market strategies and evaluation criteria. Engage with functional and company leadership to align account management initiatives with overarching business goals while establishing external partnerships to stay ahead of industry trends. Own and execute a strategic global account plan to accelerate revenue growth, acting as an internal subject matter expert to build trusting relationships with C-level stakeholders across large, global organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a broad understanding of F5 solutions
- Uses extensive professional expertise in account management as well as F5's offerings
- Owns, develops, and executes a strategic or Global Account plan
- Experience in building C-Level and other meaningful relationships within large, strategic, and global organizations
- Ability to convey technical concepts as digestible information for non-technical audiences
- Skilled in working in a matrix team environment
- Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter
Desired Qualifications
- Consistently acts as a resource for other functions such as sales engineering, sales management, and inside sales
- Requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications
- Ability to select and improve processes to sell across F5's product portfolio and manage all facets of relationships with existing strategic accounts
- Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
