Job Summary
Principal at Academy of Arts & Technology (ACCEL Schools) in Marion, Ohio, serving K-12 students within a public charter school network. Responsible for instructional and administrative leadership, developing and implementing the school’s academic vision, ensuring achievement for all students, and managing daily operations. Lead curriculum development and instructional programs, direct instructional coaching and evaluation, leverage data to guide instruction, drive professional development, oversee Special Education programs, coordinate summer/after-school opportunities, and ensure compliance, budget controls, and campus safety. Establish a collaborative school culture, supervise teachers and staff, and engage with parents and the local community to promote student success. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline
- Current valid Principal license
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a full-time teaching role
- Two or more years of experience in successful school administration/instructional leadership in an urban setting
- Experience in coaching teachers to improve instructional planning, instructional practice, and classroom culture
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
