Job Summary
Welcome guests warmly and deliver food/beverage items in a courteous, timely manner at the 100 Sails Restaurant and Bar. Greet guests, take orders, upsell where appropriate, process payments using the hotel POS system, ensure accuracy and timely delivery, maintain cleanliness, assist in opening/closing duties, train new employees, and uphold hotel standards. Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs, communicate effectively in English, and comply with liquor regulations. Requires 18+ for alcohol service and Hawaii liquor card; TB clearance may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Health TB clearance
- Must be 18 years of age if serving or selling alcoholic beverages
- Hawaii State Liquor card
- Must be able to read and write in English to perform job duties
- Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling
- Ability to multi-task
- Pass a written test on food and beverage items
- Pass a practical service test
- Abide by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations, pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
