Job Summary
Designs manufacturing processes and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling; determines efficient plant layouts and sequence of operations; specifies fabrication procedures and adapts designs to production conditions; includes inspection/test requirements in the production plan and ensures compliance with regulations; provides guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques; supports technology/therapy innovations with project leadership and potential mentorship of colleagues; role emphasizes autonomous project execution and impact on new products, processes, or standards.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience
