Job Summary
Provide detailed technical support for Superficial Venous Interventions (SVI) products and procedures to physicians, nurses, and technicians, including case coverage for critical cases requiring technical support on the safe and effective use of our products. Deliver product training to General & Vascular Surgeons, Cardiovascular Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists on superficial venous ultrasound, the Closure System, and associated supplies through in-services, mock cases, and field employee training. Resolve site customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports for management while supporting territory sales strategy through inventory management and PO collection. Work with physicians and lab staff in case selection processes and provide regular feedback to Research and Development regarding product performance. Travel extensively by car and plane up to 50-75% of the time to hospital, surgery center, and physician office call points, adhering to financial, regulatory, and quality compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree
- Associate degree
- Bachelor's degree
- 9+ years experience with High School Degree
- 5+ years experience with Associate degree
- 3+ years experience with Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license for state of residency
- Active vehicle insurance policy
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to wear lead apron for long periods of time
- Ability to operate a moving vehicle
- Ability to travel extensively by car and plane
- Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stay up to 50-75% of the time
- Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work-schedule
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Driving record reviewable and considered as part of application
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in hospitals, surgical centers and physician offices
- U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Ultrasound and/or Venous experience
- Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the medical device industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer PC literate
- Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating programs
- Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines
- Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
