Job Summary
Lead employee benefit accounting operations for Diabetes International, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while collaborating with HR and finance teams to maintain payroll data integrity. Support the implementation of accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA, particularly for the TSA exit with Medtronic, and assist audits by providing required documentation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll accounting processes across multiple geographies. Work collaboratively with Corporate, local Finance, Accounts Payable, IT Support, and external auditors to resolve discrepancies and optimize controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on employee benefits or payroll accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory requirements
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems
- TSA exit experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Valid employment authorization (E-Verify program participation)
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems (listed as a plus in the text)
