Job Summary
Senior Stock Loan Trader responsible for overseeing a trading book and managing risk, coordinating with the Trading team and across Sales, Research, and Securities Services to generate revenues and develop the trading franchise. Responsibilities include trading a book to deliver on budgeted revenues, establishing and maintaining relationships to deliver trades, anticipating client demand, coordinating with desk analysts and sales, and upholding strong governance and controls with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance. Must adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct, maintain required registrations/licenses, and exercise disciplined risk management and ethical judgment in line with firm policies and safeguarding assets.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of respective products and clients
- Required licensing and registrations as applicable
- Advanced analytical and numerical competency
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, and closing technicalities
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
